I have them dried (bought from Julian Graves health food shop, I did ask if they were horrible first!) and they taste quite 'figgy'. They are very chewy though! We have literally just been allocated our first allotment and were thinking about growing some of these because I quite like them!
My chap did some research and said that they are reasonably easy to grow..... I guess we will soon find out
