Most bats in houses are pippistrelles. Daubs are water bats and you find them under bridges over rivers or swooping over lakes. Lovely creatures. Our son has led bat walks (so naturally we went on them!). We've looked after orphan pips and taken them into school for the children to see. They are fascinated. Never to early to learn about the creatures we share our garden with. |
