I think I know what you mean, and I THINK they are sold in Wilko. THe one I'm thinking of is a round dish with a funnel at one end, then the top is perspex and fits on top of the dish like a lid BUT with various sized holes in the side so you can line up the correct size hole for your size of seed.
Fill the dish with the seed and put the lid on, rotate till correct size hole is lined up with the funnel and gently dribble seeds into the drill. I used to have one, but think it went the way of all flesh some years ago.
I just pour the seed into my palm and sow pinch at a time. THat is probably why I sow far too thickly.........perhaps I should get one too! |
